How do I register my new ETI-1?
To register your new ETI-1, do the following:

Plug one end of the phoneline cord that came packed with your ETI-1 into the device and the other end into an analog phone jack (most homes have standard analog jacks), or connect your Ethernet line.

Press the Menu button to turn on your ETI-1.

If you are not viewing the eBookshelf, press the Bookshelf button at the top edge of the device, and tap Settings.

Tap Phone Connection to select the best description for your location.

Tap Go to Bookshelf at the bottom of the phone connection page.

Your ETI-1 will dial into our network and take you to the registration page.
Follow the on-screen prompts to input the required information.

I would like to register a new ETI-1 to replace the eBook I lost. How do I do this so I can keep all the eBook Editions I purchased?
The first thing to do when you have your replacement unit is to register the new unit.
Be sure you have the correct phone line or Ethernet setting before registering, as instructed in the Quick Start Guide that came packed with your new ETI-1.
Press the Menu button, then tap Bookstore.
Your eBook will dial in and open on the registration page.
Select the second option, Connect to Existing Bookshelf.

I received a message while purchasing content that my ETI-1 is not registered. What do I do?
To check and see that your eBook is registered do the following:

At the top of your ETI-1, press the Bookshelf button, then press the Menu button.

Tap Info on the dropdown menu.

You should see your name and user ID in the upper left corner of the screen.
If this information is missing, you will need to review your registration information in the Customer Support area of the eBookstore.

How do I access my registration information if I need to update it?
To access your registration information do the following:

Press the Bookshelf button to open the eBookshelf screen.

Press the Menu button.

Tap Bookstore on the dropdown menu.

After you are in the bookstore, press the Menu button again.

Tap Directory on the dropdown menu.

Tap Customer Support.

Tap Register to review and update your account information.

Can I transfer all the eBook Editions on my current eBook device to my new ETI-1?
Yes. This is accomplished during registration.
Be sure you have the correct phone line or Ethernet setting before registering, as instructed in the Quick Start Guide that came packed with your new ETI-1.
Press the Menu button, then tap Bookstore.
On the registration page, select the second option, Connect to Existing Bookshelf, and enter your eBook ID and password.
